Breakfast of Champions

At the breakfst of Champions, all 53 Champions (that's one champion representing each state and Washington DC plus 2 sets of twin Champions) get together to meet & socialize while devouring Mickey Mouse waffles and bacon!! Yum! Yum! We get to hear from CMN Hospital co-founder John Schneider as well as CMN CEO John Lauck. After fueling up on a delicious breakfast, we mingle, take photos, & chat with Mickey and the gang!!

Some of my new friends whom I have been looking forward to meeting!! Pals from Missouri, New Mexico, & Texas!! We have never met before this, but once I come face to face with them, I feel like we have so much in common!! Love you Christopher, Kyle, & Dustin!! :)

Champions Invade WDW

It is finally here!! It is time for the 2011 Champions trip to Walt Disney World and DC!! We are at Disney's Contemporary Hotel where they have rolled out the red carpet for the arrival of the 2011 CMN Champions!! We have an amazing week ahead!!

Time to Bring You Up To Speed

Hi Gang!!! I hope all is well. Over the next few days, we are going to try to bring everyone up to speed with what I have been doing over the past 6 months. I'll be posting lots of pictures as well as filling you in to all my latest adventures!!! My journey has been incredible!!! My day with Jeff Gordon

Back in September, I was invited by the Nascar Foundation along with the Jeff Gordon Childrens Foundation to visit the Chicagoland Motor Speedway to see Jeff race. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month & Jeff had a special gold ribbon painted on his car for all the kids out there like me who courageously fight cancer everyday. Jeff Gordon is very important to me because he continues to generously donate funds to the pediatric cancer research center he helped develop at Riley Hospital for Children. His efforts are helping doctors & researchers find a cure for pediatric cancer. I know that Jeff Gordon is a key player in me successfully beating cancer. Thank you Jeff!!! ACE is the Place!!!

Recently, I visited White's ACE Hardware in Carmel, Indiana for my CMN Champions send-off party!! ACE is the sponsor for the big trip coming up next week!! ACE Hardware has been a CMN partner for the past 20 years and in that time has raised more than $45 million dollars for Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals nationwide!!! WOW!! Thanks ACE!! :)

I am very excited to go to Disney World and I am even more excited to go to Washington DC!!! I hope we get to spend a little time at the White House with President Obama!!! There are tons of events planned and there will be many opportunities to share my story with some very influential people. I cannot wait to meet all the Champions from the other states!! They are all incredible kids and I know we will all have a blast together!! I will do my best to represent Riley Hospital for Children & our great state of Indiana!!
